Westminster's Men's Group

MOJO Men's Group

MOJO is the name for the Westminster men's fellowship. We meet the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7 p.m. as a Christian support and discussion group focusing on everything from prayer to politics, love to war, families to friendship and more. Originally an African word (from "moyo," meaning "soul" or "life force"), the word has evolved in American culture to include meanings such as "charisma," "charm" and "magic." Our meetings reflect all those meanings in our interaction. MOJO can also be interpreted as an acronym for "Men of Jesus Organization." That's what we try to be--men who follow him. Our agenda is open-ended and always set by the group. Past meetings have included discussions of Jim Wallis' best-selling book, God's Politics; a study of the life of king David; and a review of the book of Revelation. All "real men" are welcome.
